Our themed baby classes are designed to be gentle, joyful, and genuinely baby-led — a space where you can slow down and enjoy time with your little one.

🧸 Sensory Play
Lights, textures, tummy time, bubbles, and gentle-touch toys to awaken your baby’s curiosity and support early development and bonding.
🎵 Music & Rhythm
Singing, swaying, and instruments to build your baby’s coordination and connection with you.
👗 Dress-Up & Imagination
Adorable themed costumes (for babies — and maybe you too!) to spark creative play and shared smiles.
✨ Relaxed & Welcoming Environment
No pressure, no expectations, no “right way” to do things. Feed, cuddle, settle, or join in — whatever you and your little cub needs in the moment is perfect.

🤱 Meet Sarah – Your Edinburgh Class Leader
Hi! I’m Sarah — mum of two boys, Max (3) and Cody (9 months).
I created Costume Cubs to give mums like you:
Fun ways to connect and bond with your baby
A place to meet other Edinburgh mums who just get it
Time to slow down in the moment, feel welcomed, and enjoy motherhood together
My goal is to offer gentle, creative, and welcoming classes that make motherhood feel a little more magical (and a lot less lonely).

👶 Ages: 0–12 months (or walking)
🧍 Capacity: Only 10 babies per session

❓ FAQs – Common Questions From Edinburgh Mums
Q: Will your classes be running as blocks?
A: Yes — Following our Valentines launch week, we are running a few introductory classes throughout February. We will be running other special fun themed classes throughout the year and block classes will commence April 2026!
Q: Do I need to book in advance?
A: Yes, booking is required to secure your place as class sizes are limited.
Q: Is it okay if my baby is a newborn?
A: Absolutely! The class is perfect for babies aged 0–12 months, even very young ones.
Q: What if my baby cries or needs to feed?
A: Totally fine — this is a baby-led class. Take breaks as needed.
Q: Can both parents attend?
A: We ask for one adult per baby where possible to keep the space calm and cozy.
Q: Do you offer a rate for twins?
A: We do 🤍 Families attending with twins are welcome to book using our Twin Family Rate. Simply drop us a message and we’ll ensure your twin rate is applied. We know joining a class with two little ones can feel like a big step — we’re here to make it as smooth (and special) as possible for you.
